Die teuersten Liköre ever!

The most expensive liqueurs ever!

Price/enjoyment ratio is my top priority!
It is essential for me to be able to look people in the eye and say with a clear conscience: This is the best value for your money.
But our new PUR liqueur line is suddenly the most expensive liqueurs ever!
How can this be?

Everything is getting better and better Reading The most expensive liqueurs ever! 3 minutes

€24.90 for a 0.35-liter bottle of liqueur?
So 71.14 € per liter!?
For a liqueur?
I asked you if you were still sane!

Yes, I am.
Super expensive, I know.
But liqueurs are shit. Not ours.

Why is Wagemut now making liqueurs? Because we don't want to leave things as they are.
Through my work on YouTube, I've been able to try a huge number of liqueurs and I'm simply shocked by the miserable quality.
While you can get really good quality gin, vodka, and rum for little money, liqueurs are all crap—even if you're willing to spend more money.

Back then in London, I learned from Alex Kratena, the amazing bartender and boss of the legendary “Artesian Bar” (the best bar in the world at the time), that everything is good as long as you do it well.

It worked.
And so I didn’t want to accept that the “liqueur” category was being messed up like that.

So I got to work.
Uncompromising.
No flavors, colors or anything else.

And I quickly learned why virtually nobody works with natural raw materials:
Unstable, color is not stable, oxidizes quickly, goes bad.
And the biggest problem: far too expensive!

Have you ever peeled and pureed pistachios and then sold the whole thing at a huge profit in a large corporation?
Even.

I thought to myself:
Fuck it all!
Either I do it hard or not at all.
It's just supposed to be intense.

Let's start with limoncello. Best limoncello ever.
Yes, I know: blah blah, you can't say that about your own work!
I don't care. It's actually true. I bought all the limoncelli I could get my hands on—even in Italy.
What we do is in a completely different league.
But: also the most expensive limoncello.

Not because we have suddenly become greedy, but because we process a completely different quality.

But more about that in detail in the next article.

You can pre-order the fabric now – the first batch is already ready.
If you don't get a bottle from the first batch, it will say "delivery in 6 weeks" - then you have already pre-ordered the second batch.

More liqueurs in the works:
Pistachio, hazelnut, salted caramel and eggnog.

It gets brutal.
