RUM FROM TRINIDAD WAS MATURED FOR 6 MONTHS IN TOKAJ OAK BARRELS.
The oaks come from the Tokaj region of Hungary and grow there on volcanic soil. The barrels themselves are made in Erdőbénye, in a traditional cooperage. The trunks are slow-growing and their fine pores are comparable to those of German oak.
Due to the small size (112 litre barrel), the maturation was much more intensive and therefore we only got so few bottles out.
