Wagemut Members Club 2025

We introduced the Members Club in 2022 for two reasons: 

1. Our Wagemut Special Edition 2021 sold out so quickly that many people didn't get a bottle. With your membership, you no longer have to worry, as you will receive the Wagemut Special Edition at the end of the year without having to do anything else. 

2. The membership fee enabled us to collect money and pre-finance the procurement of raw materials – to date we have managed without the support of a bank. 

That was it. Or rather, we didn't think about it any further - but something beautiful developed from it. 

The Wagemut Summer Festival took place for the first time in 2023. We invite all members to our production facility to have a good time together - and drink rum straight from the barrels... 

This year we invite you for the third time, and most importantly: for the last time at our current location! 

We're moving in October. We'll stay in the same town, but everything will change: A completely new hall will be built for us. The hall will be twice as big, while we'll increase the capacity for barrels tenfold! And the best part is that we'll be building our own bar, Wagemut, with a view of the barrels. I'm really looking forward to it. 

What does our move have to do with the Members Club?
I am very touched by the feedback we receive from our members - in relation to our rum varieties, our team and, above all, our great community. What was almost even more exciting for me was the realization that many people enjoy being a part of our development. How a group of down-to-earth brothers opened a small rum shop and are growing bit by bit. In 2021 we were still producing in a single-family house, where we owned a handful of barrels, and in 2025 we will be moving into a new hall with capacity for over 1,500 barrels (but we don't have nearly that many at the moment).

This year is therefore the last opportunity to take part in this step – by participating in the 2025 Summer Festival. 

I don't want to call it a demolition party - after all, we still have to work with the hall and produce for a few more months... 

In any case, I am very proud of our small company, of our best team and of this amazing community that helps us to spread our passion. 

In addition to access to the Wagemut summer festival and the opportunity to be part of the coolest rum group in the world, you will also receive a sample of each Spirit Traveller bottling - a few weeks before the official release, so that you can try the extraordinary stuff at your leisure and (if you wish) secure your bottle in advance. 

From this year onwards, membership also includes a Wagemut Members Only bottling - this will be sent out immediately when you complete your membership. All packages for our existing members will be sent out on Tuesday.

Since I really want to inspire my boys and girls, we didn't hold back and conjured up something very special in the bottle: 

A 17 year old rum from Trinidad was split and half matured in new Tokaji oak and the other half in PX sherry casks. 

So a total of three barrels were used, which produced a real gem! We created exactly 677 bottles of it. The bottling will never come onto the market and is only available through membership. 

Consequently, there are only three scenarios: 

1. You are already a member and seem to be doing everything right in life. 

2. You are not a member yet – perhaps I have convinced you with these great advantages to become a part of Wagemut. 

3. You are still torn. Then please consider the following points: 

   - You get the value of your membership in the form of rum! The summer party, all the samples, shipping costs etc. are completely on our account and are simply on top! 

   - This year is the last time you can experience our current production site! 

If all of this hasn’t convinced you, then I don’t know what will – but I love you anyway!
